On the final episode of “Off the Rack” with Cordell and Micah, celebrity stylist and half of “Wayman + Micah,” Wayman Bannerman, joins the show.

A FAMU alum, Bannerman has made a splash in the fashion industry as one half of the Wayman and Micah stylist duo. Starting their work together in 2013, the duo has worked with several celebrity clients, including Saweetie, Regina King, Davine Joy Randolph and more.

In the episode, Cordell and Micah talk to Bannerman about his FAMU roots, his youth connection to fashion, his current client work, and how he interacts with the fashion industry today.

“I was going to find a way to make my degree work for what I wanted to do,” Bannerman said in the episode.

Blending his business degree with his love of fashion, he found work for what he wanted to do after college, working under Conde Nast as a freelancer with their editors and stylists in New York. Working within fashion editorials for three to four years in New York City, he then met Micah through hanging out with a collective of people who worked in the fashion industry in the city. Soon after, their aspirations and business views aligned, and the rest was history.
